Four Arrests Made During a DUI Sting at the Vista Courthouse

During a DUI sting operation at the Vista Court put on by the Escondido police department and the San Diego County DUI Probation Team, four felony DUI arrests were made.

The Vista DUI sting was conducted on Monday at the Vista Courthouse to make sure that people who are on probation were not violating their probation. One of the four felony DUI probationers was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol during her court appearance, according to an Escondido police sergeant.

Officer’s arrested three people who drove away from their court appearance while their license was suspended. Officer’s seized three cars and gave out three misdemeanor traffic citations, according to the department’s traffic division Sergeant Dana Ray.

In California, it is unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle while under the influence of any kind of alcoholic beverage or drug.
